Weddings at The Great Barn

With a stunning vaulted ceiling, exposed wooden oak beams and limestone flooring, The Great Barn at Headstone Manor and Museum provides an elegant venue for wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships and receptions. The Great Barn is licensed for ceremonies for up to 250 guests.

Our dedicated events team guarantee the highest level of service to ensure that your day is truly memorable. We would be delighted to show you around our beautiful site and wonderful historic buildings, and can also recommend fantastic caterers, photographers, florists, entertainment and other suppliers who are familiar with our site.

Our wedding package includes

Exclusive use of the barn from:
10.00 to 23.00 Monday to Wednesday, 10.00 to 23.55 Thursday to Sunday. All suppliers and guests need to be off site by this time.
Access to the museum grounds for photos
Dedicated Events Coordinator and duty managers
Tables & 200 Chiavari chairs
Use of easels, décor dividers, ceremony table, and welcome guest book table
Uplighters and fairy lights throughout the space

Outdoor grassland for a marquee, outdoor ceremony, or drinks reception
Dressing room.
Finishing kitchen with hot cupboards, fridges, and hot water (for plating, not cooking)
Catering tent (fixed outdoor structure for all cooking)
Public car park
Sound equipment for background music and speeches
No Corkage fee

The Great Barn is truly a hidden gem. Our guests enjoyed coming to a wedding venue which has so much character. The venue requires minimal decor as it is beautiful, and the fairy lights inside add to the character of such a unique venue. We cannot recommend this venue enough - we had a blast working with our event coordinator to create our dream wedding day. Thank you again!

We recently had our wedding at The Great Barn and it is such an amazing venue and the perfect setting for our celebration. The building itself looks amazing inside and out, with plenty of space for 100+ guests. All of the staff who helped on the day were great but a particular shout out to our Event Coordinator whose help and responsiveness in the build up to as well as on the day was invaluable.
